Colloidal Oatmeal
Clinical data supports and is approved for use by the FDA as an over-the-counter skin protectant. Colloidal oatmeal has been clinically proven to have an anti-itch affect. It soothes, softens, reduces water loss and moisturises skin thereby reducing redness and irritation. Colloidal oatmeal works great to help relieve dry, skin patches and more importantly Eczema.
Vitamin E
Or tocopherol, is well-known for its skin benefits and is easily absorbed into the skin and hair. Vitamin E may potentially help to promote skin cell formation. However, it is highly moisturising, which makes it an ideal addition to shampoos and conditioners. The Vitamin E content also keeps the oil from becoming rancid; thereby increasing a cosmetic or hair care product's shelf life.
Shea Butter
One of the best moisturising and protectant ingredients. It helps to make the skin more supple, nourished and moisturised.
Cocoa Butter
Has exceptionally high emollient properties due to its source of functinal lipids.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil's resemblance to sebum allows it to easily absorb into your skin, helping making it a gentle, softening moisturiser. It may assist for a variety of skin infections due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It may also improve and help relieve an skin conditions such as psoriasis, chapped skin, sunburn and eczema.
Olive Oil
Olive oil is an excellent ingredient for those with super dry skin! It moisturises the skin while leaving a silky smooth oil barrier on the skin to protect the skin from dry climates & environments.
Vanilla Tincture
Vanilla contains a range of complex aromatics that are used for emollients to 'smell good'. We love the vanilla in the Kids Eczema cream as it gives a beautiful yet soft aroma to the cream and to your little one.
Potassium Sorbate & Sodium Benzoate
Potassium sorbate and Sodium benzoate are predominatly used as an antifungal preservatives both in food and cosmetic preparations.
